She says that without having done singing and vocal training her whole life, she wouldn't be the outspoken, confident, vivacious person she is today, and that it has taught her how to unlock the "power, grace, and beauty" within herself. She'll be studying Acting, Performance and Voice at Millikin University in IL this fall. Congratulations Eva! |

She first found her love of theater and voice at age 6, when she performed a lead in The Wizard of Oz. Since then she has been taking voice lessons and performing, and has been studying the "bel canto" technique. She made the semifinal round of the CS Vocal Competition her last two years of high school, won the first place Endowed Scholarship at the Interlochen Arts Camp, and also won the Maddy Summer Artist Award. Madilyn is pursuing a BFA/BM in Musical Theater/Vocal Performance at Oklahoma City University. Congratulations Madilyn! |

Mary Bogue The very first recipient of the Peter Furlong Vocal Performance Scholarship was Mary Bogue! She entered Simmons College in 2019 studying Vocal Performance and Psychology. In glowing praise, Framingham High stated that Mary is a lovely young lady, and very talented both vocally and musically. She performed in Mary Poppins in the fall of 2018, which was well received. She also made it into the finals for the FHS Poetry Slam competition. She exhausted Framingham High's theater and music curriculum after her junior year, and did an independent study in music during her senior year. Framingham High expects great things from her!
