Master Classes
Internationally acclaimed Heldentenor Peter Furlong is a Massachusetts native and a graduate of UMass, Lowell (BMus) and Hartt School of Music (MMus). He has appeared on stages around the world including in Germany at Deutsche Oper Berlin and Theater Dortmund; in the Ring Cycle in Toronto, Canada, in Italy at Teatro Rossini, Lugo and Teatro Grande, Brescia; in Portugal with the Gulbenkian Orchestra; in Ireland at the Wexford Festival Opera; and in the US at Dicapo Opera in New York, Opera Colorado and Santa Fe Opera. He has worked under the batons of Sir Donald Runnicles, Julius Rudel, Marin Alsop, Alfredo Silipigni, and Michael Tilson Thomas and has taught privately and given master classes in the US, Italy, and Germany.
